DAY 2: Anna Akhmatova museum
The museum was opened in1989, celebrating centenary of Akhmatova, it was the first museum dedicated to her generation of poets and artists, the display newly rearranged in 2003 presents the appearance of Akhmatova apartment in 1920-1940 The museum also hosts temporary Exhibitions of famous artists XX century and modern St Petersburg artists.

In this apartment the outstanding Russian poet of the Silver Age spent his last years.

 

DAY 3: The National Pushkin museum on Moika12.
Alexander Pushkin lived in many apartments round St Petersburg but It was here that he started writing his masterpiece Yevgeny Onegin. Here he died following his duel with d’Anthes.

 

Nabokov museum
In this mansion the worldwide known writer lived for 18 years up to November 1917.
